July 8, 2008 — Barlow Advertising & Design Helps Denver Boy Scouts Win Two Awards for Excellence

Barlow Advertising & Design is proud to announce involvement for a recent national award for website development. Barlow Advertising was contracted by The Denver Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America to develop their new website in 2007. As a result of a national Scout competition, called the “President’s Award for Marketing Excellence”, denverboyscouts.org won an award of “Best Website”. Competitors included councils from every region in the country including more than 350 markets.

In addition, with Barlow’s expertise, the local chapter won “Best FOS Brochure” for design of the “Friends of Scouting Brochure”, an annual campaign piece used in fund raising for Scouting across the country.

The Scout’s “President’s Award for Marketing Excellence” program is now in its 10th year. It was reported that all competitions were extremely close and proved to create invaluable brand equity for the Scout organization as a whole.
